UPDATE 10:56 AM Europe/Paris: "About the upgrade: It was carried out, but only one 2690v4 is currently in operation, the other was not recognized. So we switched the RAM to CPU0. Replacement is on the way."
We will rollback to our old configuration for the moment, we will just upgrade the capacity due to this issue that shouldn't exist if the datacenter would work correctly and test our CPUs before installing them.
UPDATE 2:02 PM Europe/Paris: The network is stable for now, there will be a reboot once our datacenter will get our CPUs shipped to them.
UPDATE 8:00 AM Europe/Paris: The network was unstable for 10-15 minutes as we tested out the new link aggregation.
UPDATE 12:15 PM Europe/Paris: The network will be suffering from multiple short downtimes due to the link aggregation configuration.
UPDATE 12:30 PM Europe/Paris: The network is now stable, we are benefiting the full promised capacity upgrade. We will finish this maintenance by a last restart on our filtering node in order to install the new CPUs.
UPDATE: We're planning a reboot tommorrow on our filtering node in the morning 9-11 AM Europe/Paris in order to upgrade the CPUs and with this we can finish this upgrade.
UPDATE: Thie reboot has been cancelled.
UPDATE: A maintenance will be done on 10/11/2022 starting from 9:30 AM CET as well as some downtime for maintenance to fix some critical issues, so we can finally close this upgrade.
ETA: 2-3 hours
UPDATE: The datacenter has successfully installed the new CPUs on the filter, but this time they managed to break one of our RAM sticks.
