FS#107 - de-cubes-01c filtering node integration
Dear clients,
We would like to inform you that we’re soon going to implement another filtering node, located in Germany, Frankfurt maincubes datacenter, into our infrastructure which will have some important benefits such as filtering redudancy, latency decrease, increased filtering capacity (at least 40 gbps more amplification filtered link), new upstream provider, overall netework redundancy and much more.
We are running lots of tests this week and the subnet migration will start on the 13/11/2023 after 12:00 AM Europe/Paris timezone.

The initial tests have been conducted successfully, resulting in a significant improvement in latency.
A comparative analysis of latencies between the existing network and the new infrastructure is provided below. Over the initial months, we anticipate a substantial enhancement in connectivity, commencing at 40 Gbps.
The migration was postponed, we will announce here when the migration of the 46.37.113.0/24 subnet will begin.
The new upstream is working to open a BGP session for us, all of our configuration is mostly done, we're waiting to reroute the first subnet after the initial testing will be done.
We’re almost done configuring our Frankfurt new POP, we will reroute traffic without any downtime.
We're planning on migrating our subnet on 25/01/2024 after 12:00 AM Europe/Bucharest timezone, this may take a couple of hours, in the worst case scenario the subnet will be online at worst of 10:00 AM Europe/Bucharest.
The whole subnet will be offline during this maintenance.
The subnet has been migrated successfully, there's still some work to be done to be fully stable, there is currently just a tier 1 ISP announcing and routing our traffic from the concerned subnet. The network is stable for the moment but not operating at full capacity.
