Packet Loss and High Latency

We are currently experiencing elevated packet loss and high latency affecting the entire OVH side of the network.

Our team is investigating the issue and working to identify the cause. Users may experience slower response times, intermittent connectivity, or brief request failures while the issue is ongoing.

We will provide updates as more information becomes available.

  • Our upstream provider has confirmed that the backbone fault has been fixed.

    Network conditions have remained stable, packet loss and elevated latency are no longer observed from our monitoring.

    We are now closing this incident as resolved.

  • The network state has returned to normal, packet loss and latency have subsided from our monitoring perspective.

    We are continuing to monitor the service closely and are waiting for final confirmation from our upstream provider regarding the backbone fault.

    Users should now see normal connectivity and response times. We will provide another update once the upstream provider confirms the issue has been fully resolved.

  • One of our upstream providers has confirmed a fault on their backbone connection.

    This fault may explain the packet loss and elevated latency. The issue remains outside of our direct infrastructure, and we are continuing to monitor the situation while waiting for further updates from the upstream provider.

    Users may still experience brief latency spikes, intermittent packet loss, or temporary connectivity degradation.

    We will post another update as soon as more information is available.

  • The packet loss and high latency affecting the whole OVH side of the network is still ongoing.

    This may be related to planned maintenance by our upstream provider. We are currently waiting for confirmation from them and will continue monitoring the situation.
