Our datacenter provider has confirmed the disruption was caused by a DDoS attack. While mitigation was successful, the initial filtering measures were overly restrictive and blocked more legitimate traffic than intended, primarily impacting UDP forwarding. Due to this overblocking, some additional services not directly using UDP were also indirectly affected.
The provider has adjusted the mitigation policy and the issue is now resolved. All systems are accessible again.
Further measures are being reviewed to reduce the risk of recurrence.
